Eligibility and Academic Standards for Cadet Advancement

• Meets TIR requirement (or instructor-approved meritorious consideration).

• Maintains 2.0 GPA or higher at grading checkpoint.

• Satisfactory conduct and adherence to school/unit rules.

• Meets uniform and grooming standards on uniform day and unit events.

• Completes community service requirement set for the semester.

• Demonstrates participation in class, drill, and unit activities (as available).

• Passes performance task(s) and drill practical for the rate.

• Instructor review and final approval for promotion and/or position assignment.
